TERMS AND CONDITIONS


  1. Where possible the book will be dispatched on the same day as the purchase is made.
  2. When a purchaser buys a book(s) on the web, Banks on Sentence does not know the credit card details.
  3. For other orders, no credit card details are retained for longer than seven days.
  4. The seller is aware of his responsibilities under the various Electronic Commerce (EC Directive) Regulations.
  5. Where an order is received there is no obligation for the seller to provide the book until payment has been received.
  6. Any book damaged in the post will be replaced on return of the damaged book to the seller.
  7. Where the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regs 2000 (as amended) provide a longer period for the return of the books the period for returning the book(s) shall be that longer period.
  8. Where an order is despatched but not delivered because the Post Office was unable to deliver it, the books will be resent provided the customer pays the fresh postage costs.
  9. Refunds will be made for any book(s) returned within 14 days. Refunds will only be paid for undamaged books. The refund payment will be the amount of money spent by the customer less any postage costs incurred by Banks on Sentence.
  10. To the extent that the seller is lawfully able to do so, the seller excludes his liability for any claims, losses and/or damages of any nature resulting from:
    a) the use or the inability to use the seller's web site,
    b) the use of the information contained in Banks on Sentence or on the seller's website. The exclusion extends to persons who do not purchase the book.
